The Pygmy Cherub Angel is a vibrant and beautiful species of dwarf angelfish notable for its bright yellow-orange head and deep blue-purple body. Despite its angelic name and small size, this is one of the more aggressive dwarf angels, and shouldn't be kept with its own kind unless a breeding pair can be secured.
Care
Pygmy Cherub Angelfish grow to about 3 inches long, and may be kept in tanks of 30 gallons or more. It's generally best to avoid keeping more than one individual of the same species, or even more than one member of the dwarf angel family as they will fight for territory, especially in smaller tanks. Otherwise, aggression generally isn't an issue. As with other dwarf angels, the Pygmy Cherub is considered reef safe with caution, as it may nip at fleshy LPS and clam mantles.
Diet
Pygmy Cherub angels should be fed a diet rich in vegetable matter such as nori sheets as well as meaty frozen offerings.
