Return Policy - Dry Goods

• Deposits must be made on all special order items
• Drygoods returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
• All tanks & stand sales are final.
• No returns on opened items.
• No returns on custom orders.
• No returns on shipped orders.

Livestock & Drygoods Shipping

• Due to recent changes in UPS Next Day Air policies, some rural addresses are no longer guaranteed next day delivery. In these instances, we will contact you and suggest delivery to the nearest UPS Customer Center. Otherwise, addresses with 2-day delivery estimates will not be covered under our DOA policy.
• We require a $100 minimum order for livestock shipping.
• We ship all livestock via UPS priority overnight delivery. 
• We ship all dry goods via standard 3-5 day shipping.
• Livestock and dry goods orders generally can't be combined due to the bulk added by most aquarium equipment, but it may be considered on a case by case basis for small items.  
• Due to the nature of environmental stress when shipping livestock, we do not combine livestock and dry goods orders when shipping. This means you will be charged for 2 separate shipping charges.
• We offer shipping within the continental United States.
• Livestock is shipped in double/triple bagged poly bags with a styrofoam liner surrounding the inside of the box.
• Heat/Cool packs are used when necessary.
• All orders will be confirmed with a ship and delivery date.
• Every attempt will be made to stay on the shipping schedule below.
• If there are circumstances that prevent us from shipping on time such as weather or holidays we will notify you immediately and work out a delivery schedule.
• All orders must be shipped within two weeks of placing an order.

Livestock DOA & Return Policy

• With the exception of DOA online orders, all livestock sales are final, and no refunds are offered. 
• DOA (dead on arrival) guarantee is offered in the rare event your livestock does not make it during shipping. 
• For DOA guarantee:

1. A clear picture must be taken of livestock in the bag within two hours of UPS delivery.
2. Delivery must be made on the first attempt by UPS.
3. Whitlyn Aquatics is not responsible or liable for UPS delays for weather, mechanical issues, etc.
4. Shipping cost is not included in refund or replacement value, but we will work with you to make sure you are taken care of with replacement corals to cover for the loss.
5. All refunds will be issued in the form of gift cards.  

Livestock Shipment Schedule 

We ship Mondays-Wednesdays with UPS Next Day Air shipping. After placing your order, we will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery date when you can be home to receive your order as soon as it arrives. We can ship Thursdays, but the buyer assumes all risk in the event of a delay, as UPS will not attempt a Saturday delivery.
