Description:

Common Name: Kuhli Loach

Water Parameters:

Temperature: 75-82°F (24-28°C)

pH: 6.0-7.5

Hardness: Soft to moderately hard water (2-12 dGH)

Substrate: Soft sand or fine gravel; a well-planted tank with plenty of hiding spots and leaf litter

Additional Tips:

Tank Mates: Ideal for community tanks with other peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and dwarf cichlids. Avoid aggressive or large fish that may intimidate or prey on the Kuhli Loach.

Behavior: Kuhli Loaches are nocturnal and tend to be more active at night. They enjoy burrowing into the substrate and exploring hiding spots, making a well-aquascaped tank with plenty of cover essential.

Water Quality: Maintain good water quality with regular water changes and effective filtration to keep the fish healthy and vibrant.
