Scientific Name: Hybrid (Amphilophus citrinellus × Archocentrus nigrofasciatus)

Family: Cichlidae

Temperament: Semi-aggressive; territorial but generally peaceful with similarly sized tank mates.

Native Region:

As a hybrid species, Polar Blue Parrot Cichlids do not occur in the wild. Their parent species originate from Central America.

Hardness: Soft to moderately hard water
