Pepper Cories are a unique species of small Cory Catfish native to central South American regions in and around Brazil. They're named for their peppered light and and dark coloration that covers their bodies and fins.
Care
Pepper Cories grow to a size of 2.5", and can be kept in tanks as small as 10 gallons. They're a gregarious species, and prefer to be kept in groups of 5 or more. Cories are a bottom dwelling fish, and require a soft sandy substrate, as rough substrate or gravel can damage their sensitive barbels and cause infection.
Diet
Pepper Cories are omnivorous, and will readily accept most prepared foods. Care should be taken to ensure enough food makes it to the substrate for these bottom dwelling fish to feed on.
